Urinary tract infections (UTI) are one of the most frequent problems in hospitalized patients. Infections caused by the gram-negative bacteria which produces Extended-spectrum β-lactamases (ESBL) have become the severe problem in the hospitals across the globe. Increase in extended-spectrum betalactamase producing organisms in recent years has led to the limitation of treatment option.
