A total of 5 female dogs of varying age group were admitted at Ranchi Veterinary College in Dept. of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology for elective ovariohysterectomy. All the dogs were premedicated with Atropine sulphate, s/c @ mg/kg . 5 min prior to each treatment. Xylazine @1 mg/kg –tramadol @ 3 mg/kg IM thereafter propofol to effect” IV 15 min later and maintained by method of propofol @ mg/kg .
