Phlogacanthus geoffrayi is reported here as a newly recorded species from Vietnam. This species is morphologically allied to Phlogacanthus turgidus but differs in having a significantly bigger calyx and staminodes. The specimens were collected from Song Cau district of Phu Yen province.
