Malaria is a major public health problem in India though it is both a preventable and treatable disease. Present study was undertaken to observe characteristics of Malaria, seasonal variation and prevalence of Malaria in tertiary care hospital in Mumbai. Present study was retrograde study which was conducted from 2011 to 2013 at Tertiary care hospital. Total 30,653 blood samples were collected from clinically suspected cases of malaria and tested by rapid malarial kit.
