tailieunhanh - Preservation of the Central Highlands Culture in the Context of International Integration

The Central Highlands have a strategical role to play in Vietnam’s socioeconomic and cultural development. Not just forming a natural corridor along the borders with Southern Laos, Northeastern Cambodia, and the Central Coastal Vietnam, the region is also home to distinctive cultural values of indigenous ethnic minorities. Therefore, formulating comprehensive policies for the Central Highlands to serve multiple purposes, like narrowing the development gap with other regions and improving people’s living standards while preserving traditional cultural values, has been of great significance. The paper provides clarification of some achievements in preserving the Central Highlands culture over time, presenting current challenges as well as some suggestions for preserving and promoting traditional culture of ethnic minorities in the coming time. | Preservation of the Central Highlands Culture in the Context of International Integration
