tailieunhanh - Genetic variability studies for wue related traits in F2 mapping population of castor (Ricinus communis L.)

The study was conducted during Kharif season of 2015- 16. The data was subjected to analysis of variance and was found that the germplasm differed significantly for all the characters studied. The estimates of genotypic and phenotypic variances were worked out for all the characters. While considering the WUE traits high GCV estimates were observed for leaf area (), photosynthetic rate (), stomatal conductance (), transpiration rate () and extrinsic WUE (). In the present investigation both WUE related and yield characters showed high heritability (>60%) indicating low environmental effect and high capacity of the characters for the transmission to subsequent generation. | Genetic variability studies for wue related traits in F2 mapping population of castor Ricinus communis L.
