Field surveys were conducted between 2015-2018 to determine the occurrence and distribution of PNRSV infecting peach in 40 orchards representing major peach producing districts of Himachal Pradesh Symptomatic trees typical of viral infection present in all the orchards surveyed exhibited chlorotic spots, necrotic rings, leaf deformation and shot hole symptoms with an incidence ranging from 1 to 47 percent. DAC-ELISA confirmed the association of an Ilarvirus with peach cv.
