The aim of the current study was to identify the prevalence of bovine rotavirus infection in bovine calves aged from 1 day to 2 months old in Gujarat region. Studied samples were divided into 4 age groups, age group I (1-10 days) age group II 911-20 days), age group III (21-30 days) and age group IV (31-60 days). All the samples were screened by latex agglutination test (LAT), ELISA and RT-PCR technique. Among the 117 fecal sample screened, , and positive for Rotavirus by LAT, ELISA and RT-PCR respectively. Age wise, rotavirus infection was highly prevalent in age group-I (1-10 days) . . Sex wise, there was no clear-cut establishment of correlation for Rotavirus.
