The present investigation entitled was undertaken to study the pattern of heterosis, combining ability and gene action of the crosses (hybrids). The experiment was planted at Cotton Research Unit, Dr. PDKV, Akola. Ten genetically diverse parental lines were crossed in diallel fashion (excluding reciprocals).
