An investigation was carried out during 2017-2018 to study the effect of GA3 and biofertilizer on growth and yield of Anthurium (Anthurium andreanum Lindex Ex Andre) in soilless culture in the Experimental Farm, Department of Horticulture, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, Assam. The experiment was laid out in randomized block design and replicated 3 times. Data analysis over the period of experiment revealed that the highest plant height ( cm and cm), highest number of leaves (9 and 8), highest leaf length ( cm and cm), highest leaf breadth ( cm and cm), highest leaf area ( cm2 and cm2 ), highest plant spread ( cm and cm) were found in treatment T3(RDF+ Azospirillium + 100ppm GA3) which is followed by T7 (RDF + 100 ppm GA3). T3 recorded the highest number of sucker per plant () which was significantly superior to other treatments. Highest number of flower per plant () was recorded in the treatment T3. This trend was reflected in spathe length (), spathe breadth () and flower stalk length () for T3. The highest self life of spathe ( days) and highest vase life of spathe ( days) were recorded in treatment T3. Hence considering the positive effects on growth, flowering, yield and quality, T3 and T7 both can be considered for adopting at the field level to reap good economic yield with better quality and high net return. | Effect of GA3 and biofertilizer on growth and yield parameters of anthurium (Anthurium andreanum Lindex Ex Andre) cv.
