A field experiment was conducted in farmer’s field at Jodalli village (Kalghatgi taluk) in 2012-13 and at Pale village (Hubballi taluk) in 2013-14 under protective irrigation to study the effect of graded levels of NPK fertilizers on pests incidence of Bt cotton. The interaction of graded levels of NPK did not show significant effect on pests population (thrips, jassids, aphids, shoot weevil, mirid bug and midge) during first and second years of experimentation and also in pooled data. However, the present study revealed that an inverse relationship between the increased levels of potassium and the pests incidence. | Effect of graded levels of NPK fertilizers on pests incidence in Bt cotton in alfisol
