Human Ecology, Environmental Sociology, social ecology) emerged. This is the result of the integration of disciplines, derived from multiple approaches in research. To date, these interdisciplinary studies have provided formation for new perspectives, including those on socio-economic-ecological transformations. This point of view has been discussed in many interdisciplinary development and research forums around the world with the goal of building sustainable development models for the future. The paper focuses on the viewpoints of socio-economic-ecological transformation and discusses the issues surrounding the development of this research perspective from interdisciplinary approaches in Vietnam.
