tailieunhanh - Seroprevalence of HBV and HCV among healthy blood donors in a tertiary care hospital of northeast India: A 5-year Retrospective Study

Presence of hepatitis B virus (HBV) and hepatitis C virus (HCV) in blood donors poses a risk of transmission through blood transfusion. Chronic HBV and HCV infections put people at high risk of diseases with high morbidity and mortality. We wanted to estimate the seroprevalence of these infections in Northeast India by undertaking a study on the healthy blood donors. In a retrospective study we reviewed the records of blood donors from 2009 to 2013. | Seroprevalence of HBV and HCV among healthy blood donors in a tertiary care hospital of northeast India A 5-year Retrospective Study
