It is resulted that the growth characters of pea indicated significant effect of sowing dates as sowing dates, D1 (1st November) had recorded maximum plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, earliest 50% flowering and harvesting and SPAD value at all the growth stages, while minimum in D4 (16th December) date of sowing. Yield attributes traits revealed significant impact of date of sowing in garden pea. Highest number of pods per plant was recorded under D1 (1st November), D2, D3 and D4. | Assessment of different sowing dates and varieties on growth, yield and quality of seed in garden pea (Pisum sativum L.)
