Onion is one of the most important bulb crop grown all over the world. Onion belongs to family „Amaryllidaceae” and locally known as Pyaj. The experiment was carried out during Kharif season of 2016-2017 at Tirhut College of Agriculture Dholi experimental farm, Dholi (Muzaffarpur), a campus of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Pusa (Samastipur), Bihar. The experiment was laid out in RBD (Randomized Block Design) with ten treatments and three replication.
