tailieunhanh - Effects of various morphological traits on yield attributes of cowpea

Cowpea (Vigna unguiculata) is an important grain legume of the tropics and subtropics, covering Asia, Africa, and Central and South America, as well as parts of southern Europe and the United States of America. The present investigation was carried out at Vegetable Research Farm, Department of Horticulture, SHUATS, Allahabad during the year 2017- 2018. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design with three replications having twenty genotypes. The path coefficient analysis is the standardized partial regression coefficient which splits the correlation coefficient into the measures of direct and indirect effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. Genotypic and Phenotypic Path Coefficient Analysis revealed that seed yield (, ) had greatest positive direct effect on pod yield/plant. | Effects of various morphological traits on yield attributes of cowpea
