tailieunhanh - Effect of integrated nutrient management on growth and yield of fennel (Foeniculum vulgare Mill.)
A field experiment was conducted at research block of the Department of Plantation, Spices, Medicinal and Aromatic Crops, Kittur Rani Channamma College of Horticulture, Arabhavi, Belagavi district during rabi-2015-16 and 2016-17 to study the effect of integrated nutrient management on growth and yield of fennel (Foeniculum vulgare Mill.). The experiment was laid out in randomized complete block design and treatments were replicated thrice. The experiment consisted of twelve treatments. Among the different treatments, significantly higher seed yield per plant and hectare was recorded with T6- RDFYM+ 75% RDN + RDPK + Azospirillum at 5 kg ha-1 +PSB at 3 kg ha-1 ( g plant-1 and t ha-1 , respectively) this was on par with T4- vermicompost at t ha-1 + RDNPK+ Azospirillum at 5 kg ha-1 +PSB at 3 kg ha-1 ( g plant-1 , kg plot-1 and t ha-1 , respectively). Significantly higher growth and yield parameters viz., plant height (), number of primary and secondary branches ( and , respectively), maximum number of umbels per plant (), number of umbellets per umbel (), number of seeds per umbellate () and test weight ( g) were recorded with treatment receiving T6- RDFYM+ 75% RDN + RDPK + Azospirillum at 5 kg ha-1 +PSB at 3 kg ha-1 . | Effect of integrated nutrient management on growth and yield of fennel (Foeniculum vulgare Mill.)
