tailieunhanh - Study the organic and inorganic fraction of nitrogen in soil under long term maize-wheat cropping sequence

The present study was conducted to know the organic and inorganic fraction of nitrogen in soil under long term maize-wheat cropping sequence. It was observed that the effect of fertilizers and manures on ammonical nitrogen were reduces with depth irrespective of various treatment applied and with nitrate nitrogen, decreasing trend of this fraction with depth was observed. The pooled analysis of both year results reveals that the highest hydrolysable ammonia nitrogen (HAN) was found in treatment . T9-100% NPK + FYM 10 t ha-1 . Hydrolysable NH4 + –N + hexose amine-N form of nitrogen also decreases with depth irrespective of different treatments applied. Hexose amine nitrogen content reduces with depth irrespective of various treatment applied. Unidentified hydrolysable nitrogen content reduces with depth irrespective of various treatment applied. Application of fertilizer alone or in integration with FYM results in significant decrease in AAN and Total hydrolysable nitrogen irrespective of depth. The highest total nitrogen was observed under T9- 100% NPK + FYM 10 t ha-1 application at three depth , and mg kg-1 ha respectively. | Study the organic and inorganic fraction of nitrogen in soil under long term maize-wheat cropping sequence
