tailieunhanh - Effect of growth regulators and growth media on the rhizogenesis of some genotypes of rose through stem cuttings

This study was initiated to observe the effect of growth regulators (IBA 500, 1000, 1500, NAA 500, 1000, 1500 ppm) and growing medium combinations (Sand, sand 85% + manure 15%, sand 70% + manure 30%, sand 70% + manure 15% + soil 15%, sand 85% + soil 15%) on the rooting of three rootstocks of rose (Rosa indica, Rosa banksiae and Rosa bourboniana). Main effect of growth regulators and genotype was significant on majority of rooting characteristics. IBA (1000 ppm) recorded minimum days to root initiation (), maximum rooting (), root length ( cm) and field survival (). Among the genotype, Rosa indica performed best recording maximum rooting (), primary root number (), root length ( cm), new leaf growth on cuttings () and field survival () followed by Rosa banksiae. Performance of Rosa bourboniana was poor recording lowest values for all these parameters. Interaction effects were significant. | Effect of growth regulators and growth media on the rhizogenesis of some genotypes of rose through stem cuttings
