tailieunhanh - Study on the effects of phosphorus levels on growth and yield of chickpea (Cicer aritinum L.)

A field experiment was conducted to measure the effect of phosphorus levels [0 kg (P0), 25 kg (P1), 40 kg (P2) and 55kg (P3) P2O5 ha-1 ] on chickpea variety JG-14. The height of main shoots ( cm), fresh weight plant-1 () and dry weight/plant () were recorded significantly higher in P3. Seed yield for P3 was recorded q ha-1 which is significantly higher as compare to P0 ( q ha-1 ), P1 ( q ha-1 ) and P2 ( q ha-1 ). The biomass yield q ha-1 and straw yield q ha-1 were recorded significantly maximum in P3 followed by P2, P1 and P0 (control) respectively. Harvest index was no significantly affected by different levels of phosphorus. | Study on the effects of phosphorus levels on growth and yield of chickpea (Cicer aritinum L.)
