Agriculture is the back bone of India and a majority of Indians depend on agriculture for their livelihood. Like the concept of Digital Earth digitalization in agriculture is the combination of ICT and data ecosystems to support the agricultural development. This paper is an attempt to get an insight into the problems faced by the farmers the concept of digitalisation and the ways in which digitalization process is helping them to overcome the same. Introduction In order to transform the entire ecosystem of public services through the use of information technology the Government of India has launched the Digital India program on 1 July 2015 with the vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy.
