India ranks tenth in the world with million camel population. In November 2016, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) had approved camel milk for sale purpose. Camel milk is rich in minerals like Iron ( mg/dl), Zinc ( mg/dl), Copper ( mg/dl) and Vitamins B1 ( mg%), Vitamin B6 ( mg%), Vitamin B12 ( mg%) and Vitamin C (40- 50 mg/kg).
