Macrofungi specimens were collected from Gölbafli (Adiyaman) district in 2000-2003. As a result of field and laboratory studies, 77 taxa belonging to 22 families in the classes Ascomycetes and Basidiomycetes were identified. Five of them, Cyathus stercoreus (Schw.) de Toni, Entoloma rusticoides (Gill.) Anahtar Sozcukler Makrofunguslar Flora Gõlbaji Adiyaman Tũrkiye Introduction Gõlbaji is a district of Adiyaman in south-east Anatolia surrounded by Doganjehir Malatya to the north Araban Gaziantep to the south Besni and Tut Adiyaman to the east and aglayancerit and Pazarcik Kahramanmaraj to the west Figure 1 . To our knowledge no studies on macrofungal flora have been carried out in the area. The aim of the study was to contribute to the macrofungi flora of the district. The climate of the area is Mediterranean according to Emberger s formula Akman 1999 . The rainfall in the region is 408-908 mm and the annual average temperature is C. Since the abundance of water increases the humidity Gõlbaji Azapli and Inekli lakes and Gõksu river make the climate of the area more suitable for macrofungi growth. Plant cover .
