Anahtar Sözcükler: Türkiye floras›, yeni türler, ilave taksonlar Introduction The Flora of Turkey and the East Aegean Islands was published by in 9 volumes (Davis, 1965-1985). Then 2 supplements were published in 1988 (Davis, et al., 1988) and 2000 (Güner et al., 2000) detailing additions to the Turkish flora since the publication of the main work. The publication of the Flora of Turkey and the East Aegean Islands and its 2 supplements have received considerable attention from botanists, both in Turkey and abroad. The first checklist of additional taxa to the Turkish flora was published at the end of 1994 (Özhatay et al., 1994) and included 178 taxa. The second checklist of additional taxa to the Turkish flora, was published at the beginning of the 1999 (Özhatay et al., 1999) and included 168 taxa.
