In this paper, we present a new recursive method to compute higher order sensitivities of node voltages. Using the sensitivity coefficients we formulate multivariate polynomial equations. Fault identification is obtained by solving these equations concerned with element deviations. SENSITIVITY COMPUTATION Generally speaking, any circuit contains many passive and active components (or devices). A number of parameters pi i 1, 2, , n characterize these components. In designing electrical circuits, the designer should know the circuit’s performance deviations due to changes in the parameter values. The variations of the parameter values from their normal values depend on the manufacturing process and the temperature. Sensitivity is a measure of deviation in the circuit response with respect to a change in the circuit parameter values. It helps the designer choose the adequate component tolerances. Good circuit design requires the use of optimization methods to improve the performance and error tolerance by using the sensitivity analysis.
