It is shown through the integration of the country into ASEAN in 1995, WTO in 2007, participating in TransPacific Partnership (TPP), negotiating the free trade agreement with EU as well as Russian, Belarus, Kazhastan With Vietnam’s business community, internationalization, therefore, is inevitable. In the effort of providing a primary understanding of what the process could be, the paper introduces a set of basic information related to firms’ internationalization. Of course, these information can be found in corresponding literatures, yet they are scattered in lots of papers instead of one, thus the paper is just a collection of basic things relative to the process and hopefully, it will offer readers an overview of firms’ internationalization within reasonable amount of time.
