Bài viết trình bày kết quả nghiên cứu từ góc độ giảng viên có tham gia nghiên cứu (242 người) về mức độ hợp tác trường đại học và doanh nghiệp. This article examines the state of university – business collaborations in Vietnam from the perspective of academics. An online survey was employed as a major research instrument to investigate the state of collaborating between university and business in Vietnam. A group of 242 research academics joined the study. The extent of cooperation was found to be at low and medium level for research academics in eight types of cooperation: collaboration in R&D, mobility of academics, mobility of students, curriculum development and delivery, lifelong learning, entrepreneurship, commercialization of research and development results, and governance. Drivers, barriers, and situational factors of the cooperation were also identified in this study. The study was quantitative in nature and was conducted online. This provides an overall view of the extent of cooperation in Vietnam. It is suggested to investigate the state of cooperation in depth applying qualitative methods including interviews with experts.
