B&W will provide the Architectural Design and Structural Steel Engineering and CADD Drafting for supply of design drawings which will be used by Sumitomo Corporation to purchase the fabricated structural steel boiler building and partial enclosure materials. | Sumitomo Corporation for EVNGENCO1 Duyen Hai 3 Extension, 1 x 660 MWnet Power Project July 7, 2014 BOILER BUILDING ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN AND STRUCTURAL STEEL ENGINEERING SERVICES B&W will provide the Architectural Design and Structural Steel Engineering and CADD Drafting for supply of design drawings which will be used by Sumitomo Corporation to purchase the fabricated structural steel boiler building and partial enclosure materials. This design scope of services is based on B&W General Arrangement Drawings B0277463 and B0277464 included within this proposal. The detailed Scope of Services for the project includes the following: 1. B&W will provide structural steel engineering and design for framing and connections for one (1) boiler structure which will be the basis for development of drawing; including a boiler area, coal storage area, air heater area, and FD and PA fan areas. It is understood the Boiler Structure contains the following equipment and auxiliaries: Boiler/Economizer/associated flues and ducts One (1) Elevator Two (2) Air Heaters Critical Piping associated vents/silencers (routing configuration / loads to structure identified/confirmed by Sumitomo E&C) Monorail Beams for lifting boiler equipment at locations specified by B&W and Sumitomo E&C Platforms with intermediate stairs/ladders for access to maintain boiler equipment (locations/requirements specified by B&W and Sumitomo E&C) Two (2) Stair Towers for access from grade to the various platform levels in the structure Roof over the boiler. Girts for siding support from the upper boiler access level up to roof Support structures for the ductwork at each of the two (2) FD fans and two (2) PA fans per boiler 2. Provide not-to-exceed and final foundation loads for the boiler area, coal storage area, air heater area and FD/PA fan areas for use in foundation design being done by others. 3. Basis of design, including structural shapes, will be to ASTM .
