Mục đích chính của nghiên cứu này là xác định ảnh hưởng của một số yếu tố đến việc sử dụng phụ phẩm nông nghiệp cho gia súc nhai lại ở nông hộ Quảng Ngãi. Tổng cộng 181 hộ chăn nuôi gia súc nhai lại đại diện cho các vùng sinh thái khác nhau của tỉnh Quảng Ngãi được điều tra bằng bản câu hỏi chuẩn. | The main objective of this study is to indentify effects of some potential factors on the use of agricultural by-products for ruminants in Quangngai province. In total, 181 households rearing ruminants from different agri-ecological zones of Quangngai province were surveyed by using a standardized questionnair. Information collected consisted of ruminant production situations, the use of raw and processed agricultural by-products, and the factors affecting the use of agricultural by-products for ruminants. Results show that more than 70% surveyed households kept ruminants with a small scale. Ruminants were fed based on exploiting local resources (). More than 77% households were short of feed for ruminants from 2 to 3 months. About 97,79% surveyed households used agricultural by-products as feed for ruminants. Studied factor including: education of the householder, ruminant herd scale, production system, and living standard did not affect the percentage of households using raw and processed agricultural by products as a feed resource for ruminants (P >0,05).
