(Asteraceae), together with five species, Callipeltis cucullaris (L.) DC., Acanthocephalus benthamianus Regel, Galium verticillatum Danthoine ex Lam. Key words: Callipeltis, Acanthocephalus, Galium, Nonea, Erysimum, new records, China 1. Introduction Callipeltis Stev. includes 3 species, which are widely distributed from the Western Mediterranean to Pakistan (Qaiser and Nazimuddin, 1989), but no record had been reported from China. During the field expeditions to northern Xinjiang Province of China in 2016, Callipeltis cucullaris (L.) DC. was collected in Yining and Gongliu counties in flowering and fruiting. Acanthocephalus Kar. & Kir. is a small genus with 2 species distributed in Southwest Asia (Sales and Hedge, 2013). Acanthocephalus benthamianus Regel was mentioned in the key to Cichorieae of Iconographia Cormophytorum Sinicorum Volume 4 (Institute of Botany, Academia Sinica, 1974) and in the website of Chinese Plant Names. However, there had not been any description and collection citation until a few individuals were collected in Gongliu county recently. Galium L. comprises more than 600 species worldwide. It was represented by 63 species in China (Chen and Ehrendorfer, 2011), excluding Galium verticillatum Danthoine ex Lam., which was also collected in Yining and Gongliu counties in 2016. Nonea Medik. is a genus .
