Although the trade between the two countries has not reached expectations, and the results are still inferior to the potential, the prospects for trade between the two countries are great and need to be further developed due to the favorable context and the advantages of the free trade agreement between Vietnam and the EU. This paper analyzes the current state of trade relations between Vietnam and Germany, assesses the advantages and disadvantages, and suggests policy implications for developing trade relations between the two countries in the future.
