In the experiment six treatments in triplicate with different types of feed namely i Chlorella sp rotifer Brachionus rotundifomis ii Chlorella sp rotifer artificial feed iii Chlorella sp artificial feed iv rotifer v Rotifer artificial feed and vi artificial feed were used. Rearing tanks containing 10 L of brackish water at salinity of 25 were used for experiment. Hatchery-produced larvae with initial body length of mm were stocked at density of 50 larvae L. After 15 days of rearing treatment used Chlorella sp rotifer artificial feed gave the best growth in length mm . The survival rates of larvae were in range of of which the highest survival was obtained from the treatment using Chlorella sp rotifer artificial feed. The most considerable figure was found in artificial feed treatment that fish died completely after 8 days rearing. Keywords Spotted scat Scatophagus argus larval rearing feeding regime. TÓM TẮT Nghiên cứu nhằm xác định thức ăn thích hợp cho sự phát triển của cá nâu từ bột đến ngày tuổi thứ 15. Thí nghiệm gồm 6 nghiệm thức thức ăn với 3 lần lặp lại bao gồm i Chlorella sp rotifer Brachionus rotundifomis ii Chlorella sp rotifer thức ăn chế biến TACB iii Chlorella sp TACB iv rotifer v rotifer TACB và vi TACB thức ăn chế biến . Thí nghiệm được bố trí trên hệ thống bể nhựa chứa 10 lít nước có độ mặn 25 . Cá bột có kích cỡ ban đầu 2 01 mm được thả với mật độ 50 con lít. Kết quả sau 15 ngày ương cho thấy nghiệm thức sử dụng Chlorella rotifer .
