There are many works focusing on terrorism and, after September 11, 2001, Islamic terrorism. Writers tend to address the issue of terrorism from the per- spective of their personal background. In many instances, it is easily discern- able whether a work is written from a Western or a Muslim perspective. In two respects, however, this book combines both perspectives.
