This book will serve as an excellent reference for this field. With the increasing incidence of renal failure in our population and the prevalence of cardiovascular disease in this population this will constitute an ever-growing segment of the patients requiring cardiovascular care especially at specialized centers. There is a great need for evidence-based therapies for these patients. Hopefully this book will serve to stimulate trials of competing and complementary therapies so that the outcomes for these unfortunate patients can be improved. Dr R.
