Wide resection and hip arthroplasty for tumors of the proximal femur

To retrospectively review the cases performed in Military Hospital 103 in recent years using either partial or total hip replacement for proximal femoral tumors. Subjects and methods: Between 2012 and 2019, eight patients with proximal femoral tumors underwent wide resection and hip arthroplasty. Two of these eight cases represented primary tumors and the remaining six represented skeletal metastases of a primary tumor. |
