The aim of this study is to evaluate and comparing routinely phenotypic methods in detection of resistance with molecular methods. From this study, it can be concluded that cephamycin-Hodge test is the most sensitive, specific, interpretable and efficient test for detection of AmpC β-lactamases in clinical isolates of Proteus mirabilis, compared to the molecular method. |
