The present experiment was conducted with an objective to evaluate changes in total phenol and antioxidant enzymes in resistance and susceptible cultivars of sesames against Phytophthora blight. Among the sesame cultivars, root of resistant cultivar G. Til-10 showed the highest amount of total phenol content (0.846 mg.g-1 Fr.Wt.), while infected leaf tissue of susceptible cultivar G. Til-4 contained the lowest value(0.418 mg.g-1 Fr.Wt.). |
