Dengue is the most critical arthropod borne viral infection and a major public health concern globally in recent years infecting about 50 million people each year. Dengue infected patients present with symptoms varying from mild fever to life threatening shock. Associated thrombo cytopaenia is a hall mark of a life threatening dengue infection.
