Measles, an acute viral illness caused by a virus belonging to the family Paramyxoviridae, is a vaccine-preventable disease. Children’s between 9 months and 12 years of age are mostly affected and presents with fever and maculopapularrash. Despite the national immunization program, measles virus infection is common in India. Objectives of the study are 1. To study the suspected cases of measles virus infection with high fever and characteristic rashes, among children. 2.
