The Catholics and Protestants in Vietnam are both familiar and strange to the word “Christianity” because Vietnamese Catholics call themselves as Christians; Vietnamese Protestants consider themselves as Christians. In fact, both Catholics and Protestants are Christian believers. If they are asked what their religions, they will answer that they are Catholics or Protestants so that Christianity becomes strange to them. Historically, Catholicism, Protestantism, the Orthodox Church and Anglican Church were the great parts of Christianity.
